Paper Purse
Hello everyone. Yes it has been too long between posts. I have no excuses. Slack is probably the only word for it. And if you are speaking with my husband he would tell you "Twilight" was the reason for my slackness. LOL
Anyway, I have put up some photos of a little paper purse we made at the last class I had. This is a lovely little gift for someone special. If I have some more interested in the class I will do it again because it was a great night and everyone left with a different purse depending on the Designer Series Paper the chose.
I used the Bella Rose paper for mine and teamed it with Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss card stock. There was a few different paper techniques used for this including one called "faux suede". What you do is distress the paper until it splits apart. Screw it up, strip it with your bone folder, put it through your crimper and screw it up all over again. Keep doing that till it splits at the edges and then very carefull pull the paper apart and you get a piece that resembles suede. Have a try.
Hope you are all well. New catalogue out on 1st September. If you would like one, please let me know.
Happy Stamping Everyone.
Tina
